EKG Technician

This course is designed in providing students with an overview of basic cardiovascular
terminology, anatomy, and physiology with a focus on the proper placement of
electrocardiogram (EKG) leads and maintenance of equipment to obtain an accurate 12-Lead
EKG as well as learning to recognize cardiac arrhythmias and the responsibilities of ECG\EKG
technicians.
Upon passing, students will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Duration: 6 weeks (weekday class) & 8 weeks (weekend class)

Phlebotomy Technician
​
The course provides the students proper procedures on blood collection, handling of equipment and supplies, complications of phlebotomy and professional issues on quality assurance, interpersonal communication and management. The course provides the students the theory and practical training in obtaining adequate and correct blood specimens by capillary or venipuncture methods as well learning patient rights, infection control, universal precautions, taking patient vital signs and the responsibilities of phlebotomy technicians. Upon passing, students will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Duration: 6 weeks (Weekday classes) , 11 weeks (Weekend classes)
Fee: $850 (Including registration fee, books and other materials)
Schedule: Time flexible -Morning, afternoon & weekend classes. Classes start in every month.

HHA (Home Health Aide)

Learn how to take basic patient care, vital sign monitoring, infection control, communication skill, basic wound care etc and get certified to do job in a Health Care setting.

Duration: 6 weeks

Schedule: Monday to Friday. (Time flexible)

ESL (English as a Second Language)

The course will focus on grammar usage, listening, speaking, reading and writing skills for students to function satisfactorily in most real-life situations related to immediate needs. In addition, the course will focus on enhancing skills needed in conversations beyond survival needs to function independently and in familiar and unfamiliar social situations and familiar work situations. Accordingly, the course will focus on fluency and communication skills as well as more complex structures, U.S. cultural values and thinking patterns through discussions, readings and writings. Upon passing, students will receive a Certificate of Completion.
